Thanks, bmrisko, for the help. These are quick release fittings and I used the 3/8" tool from an OTC 6593 set to get one line off. I'm still working on getting the second line off. Old age is making the fitting cranky.

I joined because I need to replace the rotting transmission cooling lines on my 2001 XLT and I felt the forums would be a great place for info regarding quick disconnect fittings and tools.
