Consider this an FYI or Warning for owners of 2005 and later, 5.4L motors which have VCT. The VCT system (solenoid, valve, cams, etc.) are very sensitive to contamination of the engine lubrication system. Debris, varnish, sludge and plain old dirt WILL foul the operation of the VCT system...- laserman1955

2006 Brake Master Cylinder Issue
I have a 2006 without ESC which just experienced excessive front brake drag followed by no hydraulic pressure; hence I could not bleed the brakes. Dealer informed me that contaminated brake fluid caused the master seals to swell and therefore prevented hydraulic pressure to the front wheels...- laserman1955
