It is the heat cycles that do it. The rubber gasket expands. I think it is great that it seals tight. I can always get it, it is always good to wipe it down on the outside with Windex or something that removes the oil that you might have spilt on the outiside. You would have to look at the release notes. If you pay for a FORSCAN license you have the option of logging into the Forums and downloading the Beta installer. Well, you definitely got one thing correct...like I have said many times in this thread and others....NEVER Disable the BMS in a Modern Ford. Well, This is the Gen 5(2025+) Section, and this change will trigger errors on the dash in the newer Expeditions(Pretty Sure the 22's will even give an error), just like the F150's. Either press the button, or get the harness.- LokiWolf

To be clear, DISABLE BMS = BAD!!! NEVER use the disable BMS method on ANY modern Ford. The fact that this became an acceptable solution for something that could be solved by pressing a FN button on your dash is the epitome of laziness!!! Ask me how I REALLY feel. If the modem is not actively sending location, they cannot. And you can turn of location tracking from inside the vehicle, when you do this, Ford cannot Track the vehicle, because the vehicle is not sending the info...- LokiWolf
