@HILLY Had MANY good points in his post! We will cover that in a second.
Yes, you can drop an H6, H7, or H8 in the Expedition Battery Tray. Some H7's and all H8's the factory blanket will not fit like @DieselMonk said. So order a bigger one, or remove it.
Nothing HAS TO BE adjusted on the...
There is A LOT of info out there to read on GPF's. We are not the source of truth. I suggest you go do some reading.
What specifically are you looking for?
It is the heat cycles that do it. The rubber gasket expands. I think it is great that it seals tight. I can always get it, it is always good to wipe it down on the outside with Windex or something that removes the oil that you might have spilt on the outiside. Makes it easier to grip when...
You would have to look at the release notes. If you pay for a FORSCAN license you have the option of logging into the Forums and downloading the Beta installer.
I typically always run the Beta's, but I have been using FORSCAN a LONG time. Also, FYI the product is FORSCAN not forDscan, no D.
Well, you definitely got one thing correct...like I have said many times in this thread and others....NEVER Disable the BMS in a Modern Ford. These vehicles are FULL of modules that are sensitive to Voltage, and what does the BMS do, CONTROL VOLTAGE.
APIM Start/Stop option should not prevent...
Well, This is the Gen 5(2025+) Section, and this change will trigger errors on the dash in the newer Expeditions(Pretty Sure the 22's will even give an error), just like the F150's. Either press the button, or get the harness.
Ethanol is GOOD for Turbo motors, NOT bad. Anybody who tells you different, has ZERO clue how Turbos work, and basic Chemistry.
Ethanol free will end up in some cases causing the ECU to pull more power than even 87(E10). Under high heat soak, Ethanol allows physical cooling in the intake and...
To be clear, DISABLE BMS = BAD!!!
NEVER use the disable BMS method on ANY modern Ford.
The fact that this became an acceptable solution for something that could be solved by pressing a FN button on your dash is the epitome of laziness!!! Ask me how I REALLY feel.
Buy the harness...or hold...
If the modem is not actively sending location, they cannot.
And you can turn of location tracking from inside the vehicle, when you do this, Ford cannot Track the vehicle, because the vehicle is not sending the info...
Awesome feedback from ya'll driving it day to day!!
I have had several as loaners and driven them for a few days at a time. I got used to it, but honestly still didn't like it. The wife HATED it...so Happy Wife, Happy life!
I would like a few more hard buttons and knobs, and I do tech for a...
My wife test drove the 25's and all of the above is why she is driving a 2025 Explorer ST now instead of an Expedition. Good combo of screens and physical buttons, a round steering wheel and click real physical buttons on the steering wheel.
We don't really need the space we used to need, and...
