i think i could handle the flattened bottom - but not both the bottom & the top . it’s just too dissimilar - and again , only really an issue when releasing steep turns at slow / medium speed, and keeping my hand stationary letting the wheel slide through it as it goes back to center...
unfortunately, I really think they are trying to cater to a client base that doesn’t really know, pay attention to those kinds of things, or frankly even care. I’d be willing to bet that 90% of the sales are for grocery getter moms, honestly. I’m all for innovation but it needs to be based in...
@TheDoug according to research & confirmed by our forum guru @LokiWolf , the gen 5 Tremor has an off-road “ELD” , but no longer an ELSD on any of them sadly.
i'm 100% with you (Rant incoming)... after numerous test drives i just can't get past it. i am so used to letting the wheel slide through my hands as it comes out of slow turns, and at this point in my driving career there s no way i'm gonna "re-invent the wheel" of the way i drive (couldn't...
@bb37 + @LokiWolf / thanks for confirming what I understood to be the case / i think i'll stay with the plan for a leftover '24 all things considered....
@LokiWolf : back to the OP Q i had.... do you know / have you encountered if the Forscan for '22 - '24 has setting adjustments for the PSCM...
Having driven several '25's - including the Tremor, I love they way they drive - but I'm with you %1000 on the logistics issues with the re-design (the split tailgate,,, loading gear would be a backbreaker, plus we have 2 big dogs that need to jump in the back that would now not be able to -...
this is exactly why i'm holding off on deciding between a '24 + a '25 ... because for overall driving traction in almost every situation the ELSD is superior when it comes to the safety of my family and passengers. It's probably the best non-braking controlled traction in any american SUV.
if...
interesting - the brand new '24 SPP i drove seemed softer than my '19, at least up to 50mph / windy roads. i'll take it for a spin again & see if sport mode tightens the steering more than just putting it in 4A.
In general, I would love to run the trans in normal mode since i like the shift...
I've been test driving a handful of '23-'24, a mix of SPP's and Timberlines, using both 2H + 4A... and when getting back in my 2019 right afterward, i'm positive that the steering feels significantly softer and less connected on those '23-'24 models. enough of a difference that i'm seriously...
exactly happened to my 2019 as well, 75k miles.... i barely use the horn but i think it cracked on a cold day. dealership replaced the airbag assembly, covered it under ESP. Note that as far as i understood, they did NOT replace the entire wheel - just the airbag assembly (which included the...
^^^ this. i guess nobody on the surveys has dogs that need to jump in the back anymore.
both my dogs would look at me like i was crazy if i tried to get them to jump in the back of a '25 - & if they tried they would only manage to get their front half on that lower tailgate.
on top of that...
