The A4WD actually works fine, I just can't find the issue with my 4Hi and 4Lo. I also have a brown wire switch on my A4WD.- Manlavi95

2000 Expedition 4x4, no front diff center disconnect?
I've been trying to visually diagnose the inoperable 4x4 in my truck and I can't seem to find the rumored center disconnect on the front diff. Did they do away with that on the 99+ models that don't have 2WD, but only A4WD, 4Hi, and 4Lo? That would make one less vacuum line to worry about, I guess.- Manlavi95

Like I said, the 32v in question has a 4r70 bolted to it set up for RWD. I may just get another 16v and build it.- Manlavi95

My head gaskets are well on their way out at 215K miles and an overheat June 2015. I found a 32V with "102K miles" for a little under a grand on CL. Comes with harness, but can I get away with modifying the stock harness, as I have 4x4? I wanted to rebuild mine and stick a Lightning pullout on...- Manlavi95

Anyone had any experience with programmers?
I'm thinking SCT or Superchips. I was almost thinking about just getting a Banks Transcommand, but I can't seem to find one.- Manlavi95

The legacy Evolution I just bought is secondhand, but the first one I bought, the Edge Evolution CTS was brand new and it wouldn't program, which was weird, because it showed all of the gauges. I think I'll give PHP a call tomorrow so they can unlock this one, maybe that'll work.- Manlavi95

Every programmer I try to use on my 2000 Expedition either won't connect, or won't program, depending on the model. I had an Edge Evolution CTS, which wouldn't program, but it would display all of the gauges and whatnot accurately. Now I have a legacy Edge Evolution, and it doesn't even connect...- Manlavi95

Fair enough. As far as the heater core and quick disconnects, are those pretty leak-proof or is there a way to replace them with clamps and whatnot?- Manlavi95

I actually changed the intake manifold gaskets and couldn't find a visible leak on the intake manifold. I didn't even think to look at this pipe though when I had it all off (don't you hate that feeling?). If it's the intake manifold, I'm gonna say screw it and put an eaton on it, I swear.- Manlavi95

One more time with the coolant leak
My truck loses a gallon of water a day. Last night, I got home, and there was steaming coming from underhood. I popped the hood and found that there was a pool of coolant in the intake valley. Now, I had thought it was a bad freeze plug or warped head and bad head gasket on the passenger side...- Manlavi95

Who has the most miles on the odometer of their expedition?
