    CCD OR NOT????

Has it ever been defined what the STS actually is? I haven't looked into it since purchasing one last year. Wasn't much clear info at that time.

24 stealth edition too much juice?

I have both a '22 5.0 F150 (lowered, tuned etc) and a '22 SPP. We also have 4 kids and the SPP is the vehicle my wife drives the most. My truck is my daily driver and much less comfortable than the SPP since it's lowered with a loud exhaust, but it scratches my itch. When we go on Family hauls...

    Oil Change Interval in Winter

Full Synthetic at 5,000 kilometers is probably wasting a good amount of oil, IMO. Oil life monitor reads average life of the oil based upon driving conditions, not some form of instant analysis, from my understanding. I've never seen mine go past 12,000 kms before it shows its near due for a...

    Snow Beast

Rustproof the undercarriage. Regular washes of the exterior. Full washer fluid reservoir with extra jug in the back. Plug in the block heater during the really cold snaps. All weather mats and cargo mat. Set of Ford Performance 22s with dedicated snow tires. Snow driving mode and 4a. ....I have...

    Lifted Stealth 4th Gens

In 22 CCD does not come standard on the Stealth. I made that assumption and after purchase I came to find out it was an optioned item.

Slim pickins for Labor Day :-(

Powerboost on the F150 forum seems to have guys chatting quite a bit about issues. Mind you, it's forum talk which doesn't reflect the masses.

Slim pickins for Labor Day :-(

They changed to the HO 3.5 in the 2022 refresh. The information you are reading doesn't relate to the model years 2022+. Previous years the higher powered EB on the platinum trim was not a HO 3.5.

    Hood movments

Open the hood, there's two contact points, one on either side, that touch the hood. You can rotate them (threaded stud) higher to lessen the hood vibration.

Slim pickins for Labor Day :-(

The 304a is the high output ecoboost. It's roughly 40 hp more and similar in tq vs the non HO ecoboost. Exact numbers I can't recall but gives you the idea. This is rated on 91 octane from what I remember. Believe main difference is ever so slightly different turbos, minor internals and tune.

    Sync4A Updates

The most recent OTA on our 22 is welcomed. Much nicer configuration and user friendly changes on the 15" screen.

    CCD OR NOT????

My '20 had CCD, my '22SPP does not. I didn't realize I had to order it as with my '20 it just came with the package I had. That said, I slightly prefer CCD. The floating feel to it did drive me nuts but my base suspension now rides worse than my lowered F150. I may swap to Bilsteins and see how...

Would love some folks thoughts on this, regarding oil changes on this engine.

I've used all different oils on my past and current N/A, turbo and Supercharged motors. I've come to the conclusion that I prefer Pennzoil Ultra Platinum as an off the shelf product. Speaking of, I've let our SPP get up to 8k and should get to changing it soon.

First time Expedition owner/First time poster! Some concerns....

If it's that year and came with the 22s then it should have CCD which should smooth the ride quite a bit. Swap to 285/45r22 Defenders, they will improve the ride (I had the exact same Expedition and did this before trading on a '22). Could also spring for a rear and front sway bar to plant the...

    Tune Reviews

I used Livernois on my 5.0 '22 and their communication/turnaround was quick. The tune itself is very good and I have no complaints. I've thought about tuning our SPP but unsure to date.
