    Throttle body repair on the road

    My daughter had this happen in her '13 EcoBoost F150. On advice of a parts store employee, they disconnected the air hoses, cleaned it out, and carried on their way. Still going several hundred miles later. I told her to replace it, of course.

    2017 Expedition Positive Battery Terminal

    I had the green fungus on my positive terminal. The cause was a cracked battery case at the base of the terminal. I cleaned it up, replaced the terminal (see photo in post #7), and sealed the terminal base with JB Weld. Worked well enough until new battery time.
