    Ya Iv done that before and it’s loud and echos and very hard to tell where exactly it’s coming from. I’m at a lost till I can take it to a better shop to diagnose it. Could I unplug the sensor or actuator on the transfer case to prevent it from working and see if the noise goes away ? Sent...

    I’ve checked my center caps. I plan on taking it to a drivetrain soecialized shop soon to get a more solid opinion. They did lift it off the ground and the noise would not occur. Does the A4WD activate at super low speeds and then disengages when you hit a certain MPH?

    Took it to a Jbc tire real close to my house and they said it sounds likes it’s in the transfer case or rear end. Engaging 4wd doesn’t make the noise go away but didn’t try 4lo

    Mine was blown of course so I decided to get rid of it and was able to snatch a 8 inch infinity sub that I pulled from a can am maverick trade in.
