I’d be all in if they made an Expedition like the 2025 Ramcharger with 140 mile battery range and an ICE generator for road trips/towing. A BEV is not going to be reasonable for cross country TT towing on family road trips.
Just checked prices for a 6 year 125k from Flood, Granger and Ziegler (if you use PAYINFULL code), they are all the same. Ziegler allows a payment plan but don't see the old DAMON code works any longer for $150 off just the PAYINFULL for $250 off.
Agreed, BlueCruise works well on the interstate, just waiting for them to finally push through 1.2 or 1.3 version.
Regarding performance on my '22 Platinum - I do feel a difference when I run 93 Amoco/BP Ultimate vs regular 91...there seems to be a peppier throttle response too. But clearly...
I’ve got over 16k on my ‘22 Plat Max since July including towing 8k lbs trailer MN to Jasper Canada and another MN to AZ road trip.
No complaints.
Coming from a ‘15 with 115k reasonably trouble free miles.
There is no perfect vehicle that I’m aware of.
Lost track of how many times I was at the...
Just got my 3.5.3 update notification this evening after pulling into the garage.
Would be nice if they'd roll out the latest BlueCruise 1.2 update to us soon.
I’ve found the same. It’s random. Towed about 4k miles this summer and overall fine but quirky. I wish they would modify the 7pin voltage so it wound reliably charge my TT house batteries - they’re lithium and don’t get much charge from the Ex until they drop to about 20% charge
I haven’t found it to be amazingly useful yet but maybe I don’t know how to have fun?
Beach party? Camping?
I’m puzzled on the use case. Would rather have adaptive headlights but oh well.
Seeing a little gimmicky.
Me too. Plat 4A. I got an update last week but looks like we all have the same version.
Didn’t get me the new updated BlueCruise lane change function.
Poor marketing decision for early adopters not to get the latest updates first.
Sort of unrelated but I had a '10 BMW 5 series wagon (before my '15 expedition) which had adaptive Xenon HID projectors - even though non-LED, they were probably the best lighting I have experienced. Although these '22 LEDs are probably brighter.
Hopefully the new regulations will allow the...
I agree - it's plenty bright but not as crisp. Maybe that's the reflector vs projector? Better lighting than my '15 projector but just less of that crisp cutoff that I was used to. High beams are definitely brighter/broader lighting
