    Timing chain question

I have a 2015 Expedition with 125,000 miles. I have owned it since 50,000 and do 4K oil changes. I’m curious if anyone has been having timing chain issues due to high mileage like some of the early pickups with the 3.5 did? I plan to keep my Expy a long time and wonder if there is a point where...

How much weight are you towing with a “non” HD Expedition?

What I’ve heard explained by a mechanic on a podcast is that with the small size of the engine, it builds up high heat and without the hd radiator and oil cooler and trans cooler there is a chance of something getting too hot. It may be fine 90% of time but that one time going up hill in a...

    EcoBoost Throttle Body Replaced

The dealer told me without a stored code and without it showing anything wrong when they did a diagnostic check, they could not replace any parts. They said the extended warranty I have doesn't permit replacing parts unless they find a problem or reason to replace it.

    3.5 oil change mess

I have mine at a bit of an angle and have not had a problem. (Not as much as if on ramps). Also, I let it drain in tray and it falls and runs out where it’s supposed to. I take I paper towel and wipe the drain channel once just to get any excess that may be in there and that’s it. Have not had...

    EcoBoost Throttle Body Replaced

I had the same problem with my 2015 at 64,000 miles. The first time it happened I got a wrench light. I thought the engine failed because I lost power and the engine only idled and sounded like it lost a couple cylinders. I shut it off, turned it back on and everything was normal. I took it...

    Oil catch can

Thanks, that helps a lot, I appreciate it!! What does this sensor actually sense? I am debating on the RXp or the UPR. I like that the UPR uses the Drivers side valve cover nipple instead of the oir filler but I have seen some posts with problems with UPR setting off the CEL though and it also...

    Oil catch can

They think thats what it is, throttle body, causing my wrench light but until it happens and they can capture a code they say the extended warranty will not pay for it. Of course it didn't store any code. I'm going to carry my scanner with so if it does happen again I can plug it in and...

    Oil catch can

Ok, I think I got it. I was originally confused on the sensor because I thought it was a flow through sensor and I was trying to figure out what was on the other end opposite the 3/8 hose but I think I have it now. Thanks! I appreciate the help

    Oil catch can

Just want to be clear because I believe I am going to put one of these on my 2015 Expy with 61,000 miles. So you basically left the line on the drivers side attached to valve cover, cut the line on the turbo side of sensor, attached the fuel line you purchased and ran it to the passenger side...
