So I ordered and installed this above setup and it works beautifully.....question about wiring: I just kinda stuffed everything up in the housing and out the dust cover back on. Is there any concern about the wires contacting the heat sink and damaging them?

Last month I sold my 2500 Suburban 8.1L big block....12.5 mpg HWY downhill with a tailwind was best I ever saw. The Expy is a welcome upgrade.
Packed up the fam and headed to our Anna Maria Island beach house.....averaged right at 24 mpg over 472 miles.....that is crazy good for such a behemoth vehicle. Also loved to the turbo whistle in 10th gear on any slight grade with cruise control on. Ford did an awesome job with this powertrain.
Agreed. I did notice the uneven pavement ride quality. Grateful to live somewhere with nice asphalt so definitely a non factor. I am still flabbergasted at how much their HVAC designs suck.
