My 2000 5.4l Eddie Bauer 4x4
Have a 2001 w/ description almost identical. On one of my boots the piece that gets fastened broke and plug shot out. Very loud banging noise. Trying to replace but plug wont screw in! ??????- Need wisdom

Sparkplug problems
Ign coil broke at fastening screw. Replaced coil (ind) and plug cause it shot out making loud popping noise. New plug won't thread in. Is threading stripped- Need wisdom
