4R70W Transmission Mystery that needs to be solved!! Please help!
The 4R70W/E family, which includes the 4R75w/e are known for this issue. It's a simple fix. In fact the ultimate solution is the Sonnax part #76833E. Its a redesigned overdrive apply piston shaft that solves the problem for good. You should probably replace the piston and definitely the snap...- PDR60
