Is there a TSB related to this issue? I have 2020 max limited and it shifts rough into and out of 3rd. Exactly at 17 mph.
We’ve had the adaptive relearn, brought it back as that didn’t seem to help much if any.

Follow up: finally got the vehicle in and the paperwork is written as follows (emphasis mine):
Verified customer concern, found vehicle to make a ratcheting noise when driving, checked for TSBS and SSMS and found the TSB 22-2219, vehicle did not have the MSS without 4A, directed to step 4...
Update: drove another 350 miles today in 4A and couldn’t get the noise to replicate at all so I suspect o have a leak trying to engage the hubs.
Any suggestions on what I need to mention specifically at the dealer? Is this part of the power train warranty?

I am in the middle of a long road trip, still have a thousand miles til home. Would you recommend driving in 4A the rest of the time to prevent any further damage to the gear teeth while trying to engage?
