    My house in Florida is 1160 miles from my NJ house. We just got back Sunday morning. Trip down was in 16 hours (best time ever) and the return was around 18 thanks to a couple of accidents. Four adults and stuff. Nothing on top. we averaged 19.2 mpg. I have the max version so I can go 500 miles...

    22 Platinum Max purchased last November. Close to 6500 miles. No problems so far. Has some quirks you have to get used to. It replaced a 19' Land Cruiser. Compared to that this thing is like a road going sofa

    Transmission is toast?

    I had the same symptoms with my Cayenne S and put a reman valve body in it. Works like new. Messy job but at least the sump cover is metal. Not sure about the process with the ford. Do you put a new cover on? maybe this article is relevant...
