Blend door "clicking" still after changing acturator
Same thing happened to me when I thought I needed to replaced mine. Solution was a calibration procedure that I found "somewhere" on this forum. From that post: Now I had something that i did not have before - the dreaded click click click when rotating the knob all the way to cold - However...- ripnrik

Trailer Backup Assist
My two cents - set up was simple and complete in about 10 mins. If you are experienced, you can probably be just as effective without using the assist. As several folks noted, when you are in a tight spot and the trailer is aimed exactly where you need it to go, but the truck is at an angle...- ripnrik

The "Auto Stop-Start" is so annoying!!!!
Welcome to the rest of the civilized world where auto start stop is required by law. I would agree with additional wear on starter components if this was 1960. Manufacturing technology has progressed somewhat since then. Batteries don't wear out quicker if they are used more. This feature...- ripnrik

Blend Door Actuator
Blend Door Actuator: Sometimes no fix is all that is needed... I had the same issue -2007 XLT with the rotary controls. Without any drama it suddenly stopped heating from the front. I had a '97 that had the same issue so suspected the blend door was not being properly repositioned...- ripnrik

Went with the BFG ATs 275/65/18s with KMC XD Monsters, 33mm offset. No change in ride height, tire diameter, or speedo calibration. Big change in looks. No longer see myself coming and going everywhere. Pondering next mod.... -

Tire Question Zombie - how do those tires ride? I've use the TA/KOs in several sizes in the past but never in this particular size. I'm looking at going to the 275/65/18s but am a little leary of an 80 PSI tire that weighs 9-10 lbs more similar sizes like the stock 265/70/17s I am replacing...
