    Intake tube

    I have a 2008 Exp. And wondering why on the intake tube there are boxes or resonators. Are these for noise or for nothing. And can I remove them to decrease the air turbulence?

    Downshift clunk

    I have a 2008 with only 26000 miles. The problem I have is when the vehicle downshifts. There is a cluck. Like when you would throw your manual into a lower gear. I was thinking of doing the fluid change but not until 30k. I am new to this forum. Any help.
