    Regear 2013 Expedition

I would go to deeper gears than that if you are going with 35’s.

    Updating my sloppy suspension

Upper and lower ball joints for sure, check your Tie Rod ball joints, shocks are a good start, but the real meat and potatoes would be ball joints, control arms, sway bar, tie rod….

    Regear question

I was able to tow without turning OD off comfortably, and when I tried it I definitely saw the rpm’s shoot up so I left it ON. And I still haven’t fixed the speedometer. It reads almost exactly 15 mph over my actual speed so at least I am not in danger of speeding and not knowing it.

    12v switched radio

You can do it without having to run wire.

    12v switched radio

Just had this issue. Get a radio interface. I fought forever with mine until I did some more research. You can find them at autozone for 60 bucks. It will connect to both of the factory plugs and you just wire it to your Kenwood pigtails. Mine worked great. It will include the harnesses...

    2017 - Bilstein 5100 all 4 wheels - Lessons learned

Granted I used bilstein 4600’s on mine but once I did the first one I found swapping the shock absorber out and keeping the stock coil springs wasn’t that horrible. A little time consuming and requires pretty close attention compressing the springs but it’s wasn’t all that bad. Not sure if...

    Tow package question

If you look at the harness clipped into your four pin, you will find a blue brake line wire that is capped off. So I would assume that there would be a splice along that line if the 7 pin was wired aftermarket rather than the factory.

    Tow package question

And honestly, if you really want to just err on the side of caution, upgrade everything you can to account for the differences between standard tow and hd tow and if you are looking at buying or pulling a boat, trailer, camper etc, just aim to stay under six thousand pounds so you have the piece...

    Tow package question

And if you have a pre existing trans cooler, installing the updated one would be way easier for you than it was for me. But either way isn’t impossible.

    Tow package question

So my 2008 has a class 4 hitch, no 7 pin, no cooler. So I have standard tow. But I aftermarketed the pin and the trans cooler From all the research I found, hd tow was the same weight regardless of your diff gearing the only weight differences beyond that will be 4x4 vs 4x2. So for all rights...

    Power Stop Z23 Brakes Opinions

I have the Z23 Powerstops and I love them. I have good strong braking power with no problems pulling a travel trailer and off roaring. I have used them on my Jeep in the past as well.

5.4 3V Engine Timing Chain Replacement walkthrough video

Your 2005 5.4 V8 is a 3v. I believe the 2v 5.4 was phased out around 2002 in favor of the 3v. So should be the same.
