    2011 Limited - Factory Conventional Suspension - Replacement Questions/Recommendations?

Sorry, looking to upgrade my 2013 as well and disappointed to see no replies....

Definitive Shock/Strut Replacement answers 2016 EL

I'm not hearing any brand testimonials here. I want a firmer, less floaty ride and would like premium shocks at minimum. I have a feeling to make the ride more controlled it will require springs as well as shocks for this vehicle (2103). I like Bilsteins but I don't see any springs offered by...

Installed Bilstein 5100's - thoughts, impressions, lessons learned

You aren't alone. 99% of the time the quoted time to do a task is as you said, 'at least' 3 times shorter or more than the time it took me. Granted, I'm OCD, but that just means I'm careful and not sloppy about how I work. This habitual lying about the time it takes to do a job is pathetic and...

    Well, i did my phasers.

Doesn't even relate (I don't think...) to my gen3 but is it typical to need this at 97k miles?

    2013 Brake Job

Nice work. I didn't like the imbalance in the wear I was seeing from the pass side vs the drivers side. Otherwise I might have done what you did.

    2013 Brake Job

Now kinda wishing I'd gone a bit further. That's gorgeous....I'm diggin' those Bilsteins as I think mine is a bit 'floaty'. Are they a direct fitment?

    2013 Brake Job

Replaced brake rotors, pads and 'calipers' X4 on my 2013 Limited. I am relatively new to the Expedition and the rears were below 4mm and more importantly the fronts were wearing unevenly between the driver and passenger side by 3mm. Since this used vehicle's history (112K mi at purchase) was a...

Asking for a friend (Really) ...

I had no idea there could be issues at that mileage, about the same as mine has. I will be following your example and getting mine (2013) done. I have a warranty too so another little bit of built in protection, if you will.

    3rd Generation Wheel choices

Not that there seems to be any interest but for the record, I ended up with Method MR804's in 22", on Cooper Discoverer HTP II.

    Leaky Quarter Window

I had a leak from high pressure car washes, and I approached the selling dealer not knowing the window moves. The glass tech that looked at it didn't know either but figured it out, all he suggested was cleaning the gasket with the window open to ensure it can seal properly. Well, it still leaks...

    3rd Generation Wheel choices

I've been looking around the forum. There doesn't seem to be a post that shows different wheels owners are using. It seems to me a sort of reference post should be made to show what people are using and works. I know I'd like something a bit livelier than what I have for road use. I don't plan...

    2013 AC Glitching

Got a call from the dealer. They took my advice and looked specifically at these components. They found the contacts looking burnt and the resistor looking....can't remember his words, but it looked fried. They're doing them both under warranty. Figures of course since I already had the kit on...

    2013 AC Glitching

Seems to verify how common this issue is. Thanks!

    2013 AC Glitching

Wow, most excellent. I find this harness suggestion more likely than what the dealer suggested. Thanks very much.
