Look at the website for American Muscle. They sell a front bumper audio alarm for $139. Wish I would have bought that one. Instead, I had a car sound shop install one for $300

Well, right wrong or indifferent, I just installed the wrap-around wiring plug to correct this A.S.S. issue. Wasn't too difficult and took about 40 minutes. I watched the video on their website, then followed the steps in the instructions, and it works as advertised. Maybe there's an easier...
Just dew it!! 5 minutes with a flashlight and a screwdriver. Locate the small box on the driver's side, use the screwdriver to pop the cover back, see the plastic connector, and use the screwdriver point to pry the connector loose
