What oil filter do I need?

My butt dyno says the Motorcraft filter is good for +3.75hp at 3500rpm. I'll check again tomorrow, this time with the headlights off...

    Thermostat vs. ECU

Hmmm... sounds like I have some more homework to do... If its mechanical, what turns it on, meaning where is the temp sensed?

    Thermostat vs. ECU

I already have a Hypertech Power Programmer but on the Expedition (at least in 2005) the feature to change the fan setting is not available... grrrrrrrr.

What oil filter do I need?

Since I'm changing my oil anyway, I got the Motorcraft filter, a whopping $3.67 (before my discount!). Should be good for 5hp, right?

    Thermostat vs. ECU

Is there a way to change the fan setting for using a lower temp thermostat, say a 180?

What oil filter do I need?

I've used Fram for hundreds of thousands of miles in cars, trucks and motorcycles and have never had a problem. Of the 5 current vehicles I have now, only my Mazda3 doesn't have a Fram. To each his own.

    Radiator and Transmission Cooler

I found a part #5L3Z8005BB that I think is the OEM super-cooling radiator but I'm not sure. I guess I will check with the dealer. Does anyone know if the stock, non-super-cooling radiator is 1-row or 2-row?

    USB port??

Get a good aftermarket head unit...

    Fuel Filter

Yep, the tool was about $7, has 2 sizes, and I only needed it for the downstream side of the filter.
