    Is my mpg reasonable?

    My 2018 Max with HD Tow is clocking in at 18.1 over the last 44,000 miles. This is hand calculated and not the onboard computer which is about .9 mpg optimistic. I use 93 octane 95 percent of the time, and this is a mix of city/hwy driving with my work commute being about 20 miles of mostly hwy.

    Most miles on a tank.

    I got 544.8 on 27.193 gallons for a 20.03 mpg average last September. This was exactly 1.07 mpg less than the vehicle showed for that tank which is consistent with the optimism it shows. I usually don't let the tank get that empty.

    LOL. And I have already driven about 20 miles on this fillup. I never use eco mode but this is a Max so bigger fuel cell and I last did a few highway miles so I am sure it is using that mpg in the calculation. It usually does show over 500 though when I fill up.
