Similiar with mine..... they hid all the major repairs and instead labeled them with generic titles that didnt really describe what they really did. Carfax agrees to do this so they can get the dealers business. If carfax showed the actual repairs and how serious they were, dealers would not...
I went from a 2018 expedition to a suburban, and its a night and day difference. Interior build quality is so much better, drivetrain is so smooth, cant even tell when it shifts. Wish i would have done it years ago.
I also had this choice, as my 2018 max xlt has been a pain in the ass to own.... so many issues.....cam phasers, all 4 shocks went bed, bad wheel bearing, suspicious transmission, phantom check engine lights, and so much more.... So this past weekend i said goodbye to ford and bought a 2024...
My clock did the same thing right before the truck battery crapped out. Replaced the battery and it hasnt happened since. Might have just been a coincidence..... but when i replaced the battery i had a few other things that magically started working again too.
You got it.... it was definately replaced by the dealer because the sticker on the battery was from dec 18, when the car was built june 18. I bought the expedition new in march 2019.
You are missing the point.... the dealership put a cheap non-agm battery in it, probably when the original agm battery died in it when it was sitting new on the lot. Look at the warranty disclaimer on the battery pic.... is specifically says its not supposed to be used in a stop/start vehicle...
Well, this happened today. My 2018 expedition (Bought new in March 2019) texts me and said its going into hibernation mode, even though i drove it 2 hours over the weekend. Its still on the original battery(Or so I thought).... i figured after 5 years it had a good life and its time to...
I replaced all factory speakers with 4 ohm Alipne speakers and the sound balances between them all. You should be ok as long as your replace all the old speakers with new speakers the same ohm rating. (All new speakers rated at 4 ohms or all new speakers rated at 8ohms...)
I cut off the bottom half of a gallon milk jug and place it under the filter and let that catch all the oil, and then remove it after putting on the new filter. No mess, no drips, and very easy to do.
I call bullcrap on the dealer.... i just had my front driver side wheel bearing replaced last month with no wait time. I would definately try a different dealer.
I joined the wheel bearing fail party.... just had the front drivers side bearing replaced at 31,500 miles..... just 2000 miles after having the cam phasers replaced. This piece of crap is gone as soon as the warranty is over.... i swear its every month something is failing or breaking on this suv
