So from the sounds of your situation, this idea probably won't work but you could try running E85. The catch is, you need a tune and/or tuner to make it work properly which both cost a decent amount. New headlight bulb recommendations?
Just be careful with the HID's. In some states (VA I'm pretty sure), it's illegal to put an HID bulb in an enclosure not built for it due to the aforementioned blinding- Shabadoo

Leaking Passenger Exhaust Manifold 4.6L
I've used Remflex gaskets. They do the job well. Had an exhaust leak due to poor quality gaskets and the remflex ones fixed it. I'm even missing one of the bolts on the passenger side and they don't leak. Might be worth a shot. As always, results may vary. Good luck!- Shabadoo

What’s you’re avg. mpg in your expy
Averaged 13.3 over the last 10,000 miles. That's approximately 46% stop & go, 54% highway driving. Currently at almost 250,000 miles. I log all my fill-ups on fueleconomy.gov. For those with the time/interest, it might be cool if more people update their MPG here...- Shabadoo

How bad to do the timing chains?
Shouldn't be too hard of a job really, just time consuming. Some may recommend putting in a new oil pump too since you're going to be in there anyways. Don't forget a tool to hold the camshafts. Sweet! I love data. I'm looking over it now. If you can log it, get engine load as well. I didn't see it in the CSV file. The ultimate timing that is run is determined primarily by Load and RPM.- Shabadoo
