As others have said, you can see oil on the body of the strut body or on the ground. For me what I noticed first was clunking in the front suspension when I would slowly go over very large speed bumps. You can crack the steering wheel all the way to either direction and check the struts.
My first sign was actually clunking sounds when going over larger speed bumps. That lead me into looking under the car for a work bushing or some other suspension related issues. When I did that, I noticed the leaks on the two front struts.
Seems like it may be the front driver side that’s back ordered. Both of my front ones were leaking. They replaced the passenger side but told me driver side was back ordered.
2018 Limited with 29,000 miles, two leaky fronts. Dealer will replace under warranty. Did the passenger side, but the driver side is back ordered, so will have to take it back.
Following back up on this: we ended up with a 2018 Limited SWB.
The main reason for the measurement was to try and get a feel for how big the interior is relative to our 2012 Honda Pilot. The Pilot has worked well for us but with our first one coming, we were looking for something larger...

Hoping that the regular would be big enough. I can fit the regular version in the garage fairly comfortably... but the Max would be a tough squeeze.
