Door panel removal
I'm not too mechanically inclined so I think I might just leave it to the dealer to figure out. Once I'm done trying to take the door panel off I will probably do more damage than good. Nice rig by the way, enjoyed the thread on how you towed the cheby.- Smiggs

Door panel removal
I just bought a 2000 Eddie Bauer from a local dealership. I got a great deal on it but I have one problem. The driver side window makes a creaking sound when it goes either up or down. I'm hopping it isn't the motor and maybe the guides inside need to be lubed up. Is it a major deal to pull the...- Smiggs

Landmark Ford service needs an overhaul
Up here in the Great White North our Ford Dealerships are no better. I currently have a co-worker who has his Mustang GT at one of the Ford Dealerships here for over a week. He was to have new gears installed and everything in came in the kit. ( speedo gear, shims, oil etc.) Now he is waiting... -

Piston Slap 5.4 ???
Sounds like a great idea. Especially up here in Canada when we have so start our vehicles in sub-zero temperatures.- Smiggs

New Here-Coolant Leak
I'm willing to bet that it's the head gasket. I have a 99 f-150 with the 5.4L and the same thing happened to me. I was lucky enough that there is a factory recall for this problem on all 5.4L engines with this problem. I'm not too sure if Ford will correct the problem if the vehicle is not cover...- Smiggs

Piston Slap 5.4 ???
I'm also on an F-150 forum and there are tons of posts about piston slap in the 5.4L. My motor luckily hasn't developed this yet.
