    Had the same issue on my 2014 with 150 K miles on it. Replaced the front struts and it rides like new. Big difference.

    I bought a motor and bracket for my 2014 Limited. Dorman makes them, installed without too much problem. Been working fine. Paid about $300 for the motor and bracket, I think Rock Auto but could be wrong, it was a couple of years ago.

    Forgot to mention my frame is a boxed in frame not a C-Channel frame. You can also drill holes and bolt the brackets to the frame, I decided not to do that.

    Yes all Aluminum frame and no, the brackets have not crushed any part of the frame. The set screws in each bracket seem to work properly. Take the measurements and angle the brackets properly and all is good.

    I had my AC completely off before I started the engine and the rattle noise is not there. Turn everything off in the ACC position before starting.

    They didn’t really fix anything just tried adding freon to it. Still does it when the ac is on. Turn off the ac and problem goes away. Try it and see.

    Try starting with the AC off. Mine 2014 did that and took it back numerous times to the dealer when I first bought it. Something to do with the compressor on start-up. Can't believe they built a car that was supposed to do this. Quick check and easy fix if that's the problem.
