Not sure if an injector could cause that. I'd replace all plugs on that cylinder bank. Especially 4. It can cause errors on other cylinders (I found out the hard way). Also torque those puppies down good. Check ALL plugs are torqued down actually... they tend to back out sometimes (my 06...- steelnewfie

Cat delete
I find that odd. I did a cat delete and nothing but good resulted. Better power, fuel economy, torque...Engine computer didn't mind it at all. I'd be willing to bet you have other problems. Rough Idle
Realize poster has solved re cleaning IAC. My 2cents on idle. VCT's are cheap and easy to replace on 1st and 2nd gens. Do replace them on higher mileage units. What oil/filter do you use?
Once I switched from a 5W-20 to a 0W-30 the 5.4 finally sounded like it should. I personally think the resulting touch increase in oil pressure is enough to help out the starvation issues in the top end. And this oil is 'thin' enough to perform well in any climate, year-round. Plug change... 235K and (surprise!)
Good plan getting OEM plugs and coils. A couple of mine came loose after a few months. Torqued em down and now great. Fuel filter is important too. My 06 also responded well to Gumout Regane cleaner. Have a tune on it now (once misfires were sorted) and at 298,000 KM runs best it ever had...- steelnewfie

What kind of engine oil everyone uses?
Canadian Tire Motomaster OEM Plus Euro. LX 0W-30. Truck LOVES it. Runs quiet, smooth. This is same as Shell Helix Ultra ECT C2/C3. I experienced same power draw issues. 06 EB. It was the rear wiper. Worked but was not fully fully returning to original position. Pop the glass on the rear hatch after you exit the vehicle. Sorry. PWM Solenoid. I have the 50-55mph shudder. I have ruled out Universal joint on my 06EB but it fixed some wonky vibrations.
