    Yeah. My preference would be 150lbs less in ‘payload’ to get a big naturally aspirated V8. Even with 8 people in my denali I have hundreds of pounds in payload margin....Not to mention I’ve literally never driven more than 10 miles with 8 passengers. I get your point though, extra engine...

    That makes sense but the suburban has the same interior room (~120sq ft) and payload (~1700lbs) as the expedition max. Just weird they don’t make a small block v8 an option.

    Would make sense. I’m likely going to try out a Navi but for that price point I’d really prefer an 8. BUT most people who own either (at least where I am) are moms. I can’t imagine they care about what under the hood. At least not enough to make up the massive gap in sales between ford/Lincoln...

    What do you get around town in sport? I don’t really care about the gas $$$. Gotta pay to play...but it’s just odd to me Ford is so married to the idea of a smaller engine with blowers...Why not throw a big v8 in it...get the same gas mileage, never overwork the engine and get a nice exhaust...

    14? Yikes. I currently have a 6.2l 420hp yukon and get 18mpg around town. Gas mileage wouldn’t stop me from getting an expy but jeez.
