    Fuel and emissions issue

The canister is part of the emission system which is warrantied 5 years/50,000 miles. Three weeks and no fix is time to start a lemon law by-back.

    2002 expedition rust. Need help!

Concur on the Fluid Film ! You can DIY it for under $200. Good stuff, but it only last 1-2 years. Much better than most undercoatings which are asphalt based and trap moisture and INCREASE rust !

Crazy to buy a 2003 Exp with 135k miles?

Not sure what a 2 horse rig weighs loaded, but I would want the HDTT option !

    Fuel and emissions issue

If it has been at the dealer for three weeks and they don't know how to fix it, it is time to start researching your state's lemon law !

    Strange tranny behavior (I think).

As for the cross winds, when you need tires make sure to buy Light Truck (LT) tires. They have stiffer sidewalls and will not react as much to crosswinds. They will require a higher tire pressure and will ride a bit harsher.

Help- Will my Expy tow this?

Sorry for being late to the discussion. My daughters previous Expedition EL (2016) did NOT have HDTT. I am pretty sure it had a 3.31 rear axle. They did add a HD radiator and an auxiliary transmission cooler and electric brake controller, but they actually towed a slightly larger travel...

    Pulls hard right when towing

My daughter's 2019 Expedition Max XLT. HD Trailer Tow. She has owned it for over 6 months and it has been wonderful. Today was the fist time they hitched it up to their travel trailer, 28' Jayco. Her old Expedition (2014 ?) towed the trailer to FL and back to MI and on numerous other trips...

    Nivomat shocks

Ford is no longer installing them, but are they available through the after market for 4th Gen ?

    Upgrade towing

Using the factory cooler works and all of the brackets and hoses are readily available. The factory cooler mounts in front of radiator and condenser and is plumbed in series with the trans cooler in the radiator.

    Aftermarket suspension options?

From Wikipedia For the 2014 model year, a Nivomat adaptive hydraulic suspension system with self leveling, payload leveling and trailer load leveling replaced the pneumatic system. What you are describing is technically call a MacPherson strut. So call the rear suspension a "coil over shock".

    Upgrade towing

My daughter's family was in the same situation. They did exactly what you suggested (upgraded the radiator and added the trans cooler). I believe it was less than $1,000. They did add an external brake controller, but did not change the rear axle ratio. They towed a +7,500 lbs trailer from...

Crack Powdered Rods and More Q’s (Modular V8 info)

Probably not worth the cost. PM does not machine well, but it does hold tolerance and give a "good" finish when sintered. I am pretty certain there is no further inspection done after the cap is cracked off.
