Taillights stopped working
My wife and I took separate cars this eveing and she shared this pic after I passed her. I’ve got a 2023 timberline and have kept the headlights in the “auto” position since we got it less than 4,500 miles ago. The headlights were on. The taillights obviously were not. Catalytic Converter Protection - 2023 Timberline
I had it installed within the first 200 miles of ownership. I’m around 1200 now and haven’t experienced any rattling, overheating, wind noises, or anything out of the ordinary. I do worry less about somebody running off with my cats when I’m out in town though.- TimberTex

I'm curious about that too. It isn't air tight by any stretch and does have vents cut into the bottom as well as an access hole to reach the oil drain plug. I'm sure air still circulates through there when you're driving but it does close up a lot of previously open area around there.- TimberTex

Same can be said for a lot of things. This is a 4 wheel drive, slightly more capable off road trim level but I doubt any of us are going rock crawling in it. The primary reason for the purchase wasn’t off road protection but catalytic converter theft protection. I live and work in a major city...- TimberTex

I get where you’re coming from but in the real world this isn’t practical. Do you bring all that with you and leave it in a parking lot when you’re shopping, or going to baseball game? Are you standing watch after you park or do you go inside the place you just drove to?- TimberTex

Couldn't agree more about garage parking and thats where I keep mine when I'm home. These guys get people at the grocery store, malls, etc and I just wanted peace of mind knowing mine was a harder target than most.
