Will my brake rotors need to be replaced at 60k?

Warped rotors are usually caused by incorrectly tightening the lug nuts.

Will my brake rotors need to be replaced at 60k?

My 2017 has 60,000 miles and my pads aren't even halfway worn out yet, why are you needing to machine the rotors?

    Automatic Running Boards

They're a maintenance item, I clean and lube mine each oil change.

Anything new on sluggish 1-2 shifting?

Shoot, looks like the expedition had the 6R75, similar to the 6R60 but a little more HD. Sounds like a flash fixes the 1-2 issue though just like the 60, and there's another issue from 6-4 downshifting. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/936143-got-the-tranny-fixed.html

Anything new on sluggish 1-2 shifting?

6R60 had shallow pans, I think the deep pans were on the HD trucks. Your dealer should be able to tell what it is from the scan tool. They should also know about the reflash for the hard 1 to 2 shift.

Anything new on sluggish 1-2 shifting?

My 07 explorer did this when I bought it in 14, a TCM reflash and it's been good for the last 110,000 miles.

    Catch Can!

I've put one in everyone of my Ecoboosts, you'd be surprised what drains out of it some days! I've not done a catch can or had issues with carbon buildup, but I run mine hard and tow regularly. If you do the weep hole expect an occasional spot on your garage floor. Usually only happens if you...

Bullbar does not offer the protection I expected

You gotta remember it's mounted to the front frame horns that have crumple zones built into it. So even if the bullbar was made very HD, the frame would still compress to ease the impact.

I get mad at my newer vehicles when the outlets time out

    Recommended oil for 2014 5.4L 3V Triton

I run 5w-40 in my modular engines and Ecoboost, I didn't notice any drop in milage. Thicker oils help with ring seal and I haven't noticed any bad side effects on any of my engines, currently have a fleet of 10 engines of various sizes and run hours/milage. I don't think 5w-xx matters much for...

    2016 XLT - 185,000 Replacements so far

Driving that many miles each year I start looking at newer vehicles at around the 150k mark. It's either that or a major overhaul to get your current vehicle back to a place where it can go another 100k.

    Battery charge and recommendation

I use AGM batteries because I hate leaky batteries, it's usually the first thing I do on any vehicle I purchase. AutoZone and Sam's have been good, but 1 deep discharge will kill them. On my RV there is a switch to turn on the radio, but instead of the chassis batteries it's still the cab...

    Real world MPG results

Depends on your roof rack, is the water tank mounted on it? I know from driving service vehicles that a roof rack really hurts mpg. A roof rack with ladders is even worse. Example: 2 identical 2019 Ford transits with the 3.5 eco, one with a ladder rack, one without. My van with a ladder rack...
