New steering column, electronic issues now
I found my problem. A ground wire inside the plastic cover next to my emergency brake had rusted so badly I had to put a new end on it and screw it into a fresh spot. Pretty simple. Check your grounds!- Tiredofthistruck

first gen windshield leak; by Thermo
I had the same issue. Call a local auto glass shop to have your windshield removed. Have him remove all the urethane on your truck. The metal under the urethane along the top of the windshield is probably rusty so take a wire wheel brush and clean the rust up and have the auto glass tech apply...- Tiredofthistruck

New steering column, electronic issues now
I had to replace the steering column in my 97 Expedition but after that my wipers gauges and windows didn't work unless you push down on the door unlock button. Is it possible to get a steering column that has a short in it? Seems odd that the unlock button being pressed would maker everything...- Tiredofthistruck

Wipers, gauges and windows don't work
After replacing my steering column my vehicle started but the wipers, gauges and windows didn't work except when you pushed down the door unlock button. We first thought gem module but why would everything work when that button was pressed? Could it be a bad wire or connection in the new column?- Tiredofthistruck
