So the Beast was in the shop last week for some work. For tie rods, control arms, complete brake job (front and rear) and while there an oil change. Interior Color Codes
Have a 2006 Ford Expedition Limited. According to the VIN breakdown/explanation my interior color code is H, Medium Parchment. According to the label on the door jamb my interior color code is 2H. Driver front caliper locking up.
Had the same issue on a vehicle, the rubber brake line was deteriorating inside. In my case the brakes would work normal in the am, then one would drag, then loosen up when parked a while. Dissected the hose after testing and replacing it. Tested it out of curiosity by cutting the connectors...- USAF Sarge

AC Issue
CINC Household took it in and had the repairs done. There are somethings we have no issues with doing repairs on, and there are others we leave to the pros. Example we have to change out the fuel pump on ours son's Malibu. Easy job, but a pain in the rear-end.- USAF Sarge

AC Issue
Culprit was a failed Schrader Valve.....The AC has no hiss now and is back to freezing cold which is awesome in this Florida Panhandle heat and humidity.- USAF Sarge

It's sad that there are some mechanics or shops that do that, and if not caught early It's hard to prove they did. The more they get away with it, the more they do it. Wish I still had the paperwork from the previous owner. If I did, I would know the name of the shop and would definitely ask them. I looked through it, made notes of when and what was serviced and shredded it.- USAF Sarge
