    I took off the air intake parts to have a look at the throttle body. When I pushed the butterfly valve open there was a thick black oily ring underneath. I cleaned it away and put it back together, it has not idled rough yet or "chugged" Thanks for the help 99 White. I a little about cam...

    Our 2009 has taken to limping and chugging at low idle. Only does it once in a while, I fear that our rig has a "lifetime" fuel filter. I have seen video of a fuel filter near the back on some models. Has any body replaced this in tank filter on the rig? Winky

    Has anyone replaced the oil pan gasket on their 07 to 14 expedition. It looks like you remove a cross member. Is there something else that I am probably overlooking? Winky

    I have a 2009 Expedition and after the last couple of oil changes I have been noticing some "seepage" of engine oil at the back of the oil pan. Does it just need a new oil pan gasket or is it something more lie a rear main seal... this is my first 5.4, my Fords before had old schoolV8's like...

    ac not cooling I was wondering if the shop you went to checked the orfice tube they are usually in one of the tubes on the dryer. They have a screen on them that can get crap on it and then the cooling can be intermitant or non existant. Changing the orfice tube could help. Winky

    Coolant dripping

    MY 2009 recently started dripping coolant Looking underneath all I can see is coolant around the damper pulley It is really hard to see any thing else. the upper and lower rad hoses are dry. This is my 1st 5.4l so I am not exactly sure were the water pump is.
