New to me 2013 ford expedition, think it might be on old cop car.
I got mine a few years ago as a package from 5 star. It was an SXT. Worked out great for me, probably something newer by now. I needed it for towing, helps alot- x1050er

New to me 2013 ford expedition, think it might be on old cop car.
My 2011 SSV has been very good to me. I changed every fluid in it, new battery and brakes all around. Best thing for me was a tune that raised the idle to 650 RPM with engine hot and in gear. 5 Star towing tune. Oh yes, add a console- x1050er

Well , the reset didn't help. I think it's just the led dying. not a total loss.... I did find a burnt out puddle light- x1050er

Must be an LED... my indicator light comes and goes. I see on U-Tube there's a way to re-set the Instument panel. I'll give it a try. Sure glad everything is computerized!!!- x1050er

2011 expedition ssv xl Does anyone know if there is a bulb in the dash for the turn signal indicator arrow? I lost the arrow for my left turn signal. The turn signal still works fine, just the dash light is out. Thanks- x1050er

New To Me '11 Expedition SSV
I found out when I changed all the fluids on my truck. The radiator and alternator are heavy duty also. Yes, I have the towing package. Tows my jayco camper great!!- x1050er

New To Me '11 Expedition SSV
I too have a 2011 SSV, got it wioth 68,000 on it. Was a sheriffs squad. It has a larger transmission cooler plus a larger transmission fluid pan. Held about 1 quart more fluid. Best thing (for me) i did was to have the idle raised up to 650 rpm. Really helps me when hooking up my camper.- x1050er

2011 Compass
Does anybody know how to reset the compass on a 2011 ssv expedition? I changed the battery and lost the compass, only hjave two dashes now. Followed the owners manual up to hold reset for setup menu press to scroll to compass zone. Can't figure out how to enter the zone, I only have the stem...- x1050er

FIXED! ..Grounding issues? Advice needed....
I have a 2011 XL . There is a body to frame ground strap under/near the passenger door post. Mine was in pretty bad shape. Clean yours up and re-attach. Solved alot of issues for me!!- x1050er

Headlight issue
Had to access from the underside.... It was squeeze two tabs and pop it out. Been awhile, but it was easy to do- x1050er

2011 HD Tow Brake Controller Question
I picked up the Tekonsha TK90160 with a 3035-p wiring harness. Very easy job, works well. Was just over $100- x1050er

Driver Side rear tire slanted inward (top)
Rear wheel bearing (hub) Jack it up and see if you have movement up and down- x1050er

2011 HD Tow Brake Controller Question
Yes, the 2011 is prewired for the brake controller. I have a 2011 ssv with the tow package. The connection is under the panel to the right of the scanner(ecu port) I ordered mine from etrailer.com along with the wire harness.....plug and play Good idea to clean the ground to the frame above...- x1050er
