It is all the same refrigerant system. There is a temperature blend door actuator in the rear that may be not working for some reason, or the blend door itself may have broken.
You may want to test the ground side wiring of the fuel injector to see if it is shorted, causing the fuel injector to stay open all of the time. Also, check for an open in the coil ground circuit. Either of these problems could be wiring or inside the PCM. Knowing what codes are in the PCM...
Before replacing the multi-function switch, rapidly push the flasher button repeatedly for thirty seconds or so. The contacts get gummed up and this seems to clean them up. I fixed a lot of them this way when I was a Ford Technician.
