I have a new 2012 Expedition (Limited) and have ordered some Weathertech bats which will arrive tomorrow.

My wife and I will not need or use the third row seats so will put them in the down position.

Weathertech does not have a mat that will cover the cargo area completely with the third row seats down and I do not want any that only offer partial coverage of this area.

Does anyone here know of a company that has good quality mats that will cover this area?

Thanks

I have the husky liner that covers the whole back with 3rd row folded and it is great, autoanything.com has the best price.

I'm guessing you have the "big" Expedition (EL), because Weathertec does make a mat for the cargo area with the third row folded. I have one in my truck and it fits perfectly from the back of the second seat all the way to the tailgate. But I have the "small" Expedition.

Call them on the phone and see if they have any suggestions.

Their mats are well made and I wouldn't hesitate buying them again for any of my vehicles.

I do have the EL model and will try the husky mat. Weatherteck does not make anything long enough to cover that area.

Thanks for the help.

I too have a 2012 Limited that I bought the Weathertech mats. I found a company called Canvasebacks, Canvasebacks.com, that make custom cargo mats that velcro directly to the carpet on the third row as well as a separate pieces that will velcro to the backs of my second row captain chairs. Just installed them aboutn2 weeks ago and love it. The third row cover moves with the third seat in the event you need to use the seat and do not want to remove the mat. Also has a zipper to allow you two split the seats if you need to, only raise one section. Only down side I found was that things tend to slide around a little as it has no grip to keep that from happening. Other than that, it's great. Water proof as well. Check it out.

My last 4 SUVs I've bought Weathertech mats and loved them, they are a bit pricey though. This time I tried the Husky liner for the rear cargo area, quality wise they aren't as good as the Weathertechs but they are good enough. I bought mine off of Ebay.

In addition I bought the Nifty (I think that is what it's called) carpeted molded mats from Lund instead of the Weathertechs and I kinda like the carpeted finish over the plastic Weathertechs. Time will tell how the carpet will hold up.

I posted my pic of a Canvasback liner, but here it is again. I took a full length Husky mat out for this one

I bought a 2012 Limited this weekend and wondered if the Weathertech mats cover the sill plate? I wanted to add the lighted sill option and don't want them covered by the mats. The ones for my Range Rover cover 1/2 the lights.
