So...i just bought a 2006 explorer and in the nick of time huh...voltage regulator went out this morning, ball joint still needs replaced, check engine light won't go away no matter what I replace, third time in less than a year, rear diff friction plates need replaced, heat doesn't work, hitting past 183k, I pulled all my equipment out for fear of it burning out since my voltage meter read well above 18, but I'm keeping the expy but thinking of turning it into a mudder on my spare time...probably going to sell the iPad mini dash and the top part of my console with the integrated stereo\hvac. Of course whoever wants those will have to do all their wiring but that's not too hard. I'll still be on here though!

I have a 95 Ford Explorer Limited with The v6 and my 08 Expy got better fuel mileage the the explorer my Expy got around 19mpg-22mpg depending on how I drove it and my Explorer with 2,224k miles cant get over 17mpg-19mpg the The Expy is twice the size and gets better mileage, I really badly miss my 08 Expy tons.
