I actually got a fresh battery and ran my beast today ! Been sitting awhile.. :-( Just making sure I am prepared for the 'potential' snow.

My taurus SHO is awd but given the high mileage low profile tires and low ground clearance, I don't have a lot of faith in it in anything more than a few inches. Plus it is not the same as being able to lock the front and rear axles together as can be done in the expy.

New battery, fuel pump, plugs, coil packs, pcv valve, cleaned mass air meter and throttle body, air/fuel filter, and a fresh tank of 93. Running better but still not like i want it.

running 93 in an engine designed for 87 *might* be part of the problem. Probably not. The knock sensor will adjust the timing for the harder to ignite fuel.

Replaced alternator (no more battery light at 2500 rpm), thermostat (heat seems to be better - but it is 50 out), drained power steering reservoir and replaced with fresh Lucas fluid. Just had the tires replaced (went from Toyo to Cooper Discoverer).

I hope that is it for a while :)

Went to the pick and pull and got some little plastic covers and clips replaced and fixed the rear glass rattle noise... Replaced the drivers mirror glass and motor and still waiting on my LED puddle lights and license plate lights from Daytime LED. Later on this week it'll get an oil change air in the tires and possible a u joint replacement and new catalytic converter. Also later this week I'll be doing a through and through detail of the entire truck nothing on the interior will be missed or skipped usually takes me about 6 hours on trucks this size so I'll post some pics of the before and after.
