You need an in-stock Raptor at list price, tell the place you got your 18 expy to give you one or youll go order one from the dealership 20 miles down the road.

If they try to mess with you, ask em if they got a serious excess of repeat customers who drop 6 digits on top of the line products in the same year no less or what?

We have been plagued with car issues, our 2015 Ford F-150 Lariat, 4x4. It is loaded with features, but more problems. 3 x for towing errors, that turn off the trailer brakes, homelink doesn’t work 90% of the time, sync is a joke, and rear a/c is funky. We have a extended warranty but it spends more time in the shop than I care to admit.

Hubby surprised me with 2018 Expedition, so I’m still overwhelmed with his love and the gesture.

Now, I’m looking to replace his truck. I had a platinum ready to go, 14k difference- hubby then started looking at Raptors. He’s always wanted one. All dealers want 5k above MSRP. I found a dealer to sell at sticker and it sold before I arrived.... seriously.

Thoughts? Should I pursue another one? Or does anyone know of any issues? I only want new not preowned.i don’t want to inherit someone’s nightmare....

Seriously looking to gain insight. They hold their resale value, hand over fist. Saw a 2012 with 100k selling for 33k. I don’t get it....help
Since y’all have enough $$$ to have a surprise 2018, y not buy him his platinum F150 and put another $20,000 into it and convert it to a raptor. Best of both worlds when money is no issue. Call it the Raptinum

The dealer our Expedition came from doesn’t have any in stock. They were going to get a white one at end of May. It was the wrong color and lacking the technology package. So, if I were to place an order I was told about 6 months.

The irony is that our ‘local’ dealer sends Raptors off to get modified with a 100 k price tag. Too much for my blood. The only non-modified Raptor was missing a few things that cannot be added. Ironically that one was hard to pass up. But in the end hubby is happy. Since Monday we put 800 miles on it. I’m thinking he is happy and no error messages. Yay!

Rather spend that money in something else. If you buy modified you have less hassle with warranty claims. If you recall our 2015 had plenty of issues without being modified. No thanks, pass.

Technology package, step up tailgate. One thing we wanted but wasn’t the deal breaker as the other two were, twin panel sunroof. So, we passed. We travel a lot and the technology package is helpful in the salt canyon.
