Have any part numbers?

I remember Moog had 3 bushing sizes for rears of the same year when I was buying.

Rockauto lists different sizes depending on suspension options --- its something like 18, 19 or 21mm (dont quote me on that), depending on tow packages and levelling suspension options

I am looking for an update on this thread. I have a 2014 Expy EL Limited w/hd towing pkg. and am contemplating going to the Hellwig sway bar if it will significantly improve vehicle handling while towing. I tow a 29ft., 8,000 # trailer with reese wdh and cam anti-sway.
Thanks for replies from experience.

Sounds unlikely.

Its just a piece of metal that shifts in bushes and flexes a bit, forming a loose connection between the opposing wheels

Sway bar bushings and links would be more important.

And all that is pretty secondary compared to the coilovers.

I would actually disagree. I have upgraded Sway Bars on previous trucks and they made a HUGE difference on rear sway when towing at or close to vehicle limits.

Did you upgrade the bar separately from the links and bushes, or all together?

Just the bar will make a big difference. The thicker the bar, the less movement you will feel in turns. Keep in mind a stiffer sidewall tire will also improve towing stability ....

Just the bar in some cases, and all together in some cases. Both made a difference.

The stiffer bar is where the most difference was made.

Don't see how, since fresh new links and fresh bushes have more flex in them... and old links have the resistance of wet newspaper

See how it's a bit narrower? Hellwig on top, stock on bottom.

Attempted install anyway and the bushing can't close completely.

This sizing problem still exists for the Hellwig rear sway bar for the 2018 Expedition. Thought an update would be good. I wish I saw this thread earlier. I only found it because I was trying to understand why the sway bar seemed too short. I’ve installed a rear sway bar on a Toyota truck without any issues, so I don’t think it’s me. I’m going to force it on tomorrow and take a pic to upload here as well as to send to Hellwig.
