The weird part of this is it’s never had an issue, then the expy sat and didn’t get driven for about 7 days and then this happens out of the blue.... oh well

I ordered New Motorcraft A/C Compressor w/ clutch, drier, and expansion valvex along with a new Motorcraft serpentine belt. Roughly $400 in parts for the expy today... gotta love RockAuto.

Check the orifice tube/txv for shavings. They will look similar to shavings from a hacksaw when cutting metal.

Usually the fan blade and shroud come out together to gain access.

Didn’t find any in there. Probably dirt dropped into the compressor as a lot of crap was falling on me upon removal. Flushed it anyway now just waiting for the dryer from Napa.

pain in the butt. I have to remove headlights, grille, front bumper to even get it out.
