I'm making a 6 hour tow to Yellowstone this summer. I typically pull my 6k pound trailer with a full water tank and the tank is at the front. Since this adds a bunch of tongue weight I installed and configured my WDH based on a full tank of water. I'll have full hookups at Yellowstone and so won't have water in the tanks. Do I need to adjust the height of my weight bars, i.e. lower the brackets a notch on the trailer, or leave it as is? My hitch has friction bars like an equalizer so it's not as simple as just dropping a chain link, I have to remove two set bolts in the bracket on the trailer.
