If you want a white one and are in KC, you can take the one I ordered back in Feb. I ended up buying a different one because I couldn't wait any longer. Olathe Ford.

I appreciate the heads up. We have a good relationship with Mel Hambelton Ford in Wichita. They just got a white one in with everything but the entertainment package (which they said can be added). We are debating whether to wait for a ‘19 or not.

Olathe Ford, wow, that brings back good memories. Bought a Mustang from them a long time ago.

So, I've put on just over 7k miles on my '18 Expedition Platinum. The only major complaint I have is with the roof rack. Well, the cross bars to be exact. I have broken two of them on my cross country trip. Both have been the rear bar and only on the passenger side. It actually doesn't break, but loosens at the width adjustment point. It bows and squeaks when driving down the road. I made sure that my load in my Thule car top box is under the max weight and the weight distribution is about as equal as it can be. I have tightened the adjustment screw but since the part is plastic, it wont tighten down enough to get it to stop squeaking. The squeaking is so loud, you can hear it over the stereo at a decent volume. The bowing also looks really bad and to the point that it appears that it might break more...

My Ford dealership has been more that helpful. They overnighted a set that they took off of one of the Expedition they had on their lot and overnighted them to me in Rapid City, SD. The dealership in Rapid City, SD had zero interest in doing the same for me. I stayed in a hotel for the night less than one mile from their dealership and they stated that they "under no circumstance" would they take a pair off of one their Expeditions on the lot. Regional Ford stated that they would send that dealership a replacement set within days, pay their service department for the labor and pay for them to take that vehicle off the sales lot until the replacement set arrived. Still this dealership wasn't willing to play ball. So hats off to Gillespie Ford in Gurnee, IL for stepping up and helping me over 900 miles from home!

New TFl race. Durango SRT, Denali, Navigator. The Navigator got a strong start and pulled away from the gmc but as they revved out the 6.2L Yukon caught up and passed the Lincoln taking the win. The GMC then went against the 6.4L Dodge and and the 6.2L could not overcome the weight difference and power deficit losing handily. Nathan added later on that these races were done multiple times and outcomes were consistent. They broadcast the “best” or most common outcome race, so it is safe to say these are realistic outcomes 1 mile above sea level.

Wondering about the expy vs Navigator? TFL claims the Yukon consistently wins against the navigator in these short races. Their previous video showed an expedition platinum winning against a Denali.... factory programming? I see at the end 0-60 times. The Durango is 5.6 seconds, Naviagtor 8.3 seconds, GMC at 8.8 seconds. The GMC and Durango are slightly handicapped at the tested elevation (1 mile). Seems the Navigator is quicker to 60 (at least at elevation) but beyond that the Yukon overtakes it. Possibly just powerband or maybe tuning. Is it possible an Expy platinum is faster than the Navigator overall? I know a regular F-150 is actually faster than the HO raptor. Would be nice to see an expy vs Navi race.

I think its tuning and weight, the navi is tuned softer and more "gentle" when you hit the throttle. Also, the navi is a good 200-300lbs heavier than the expy as well. Ill admit the expy plat is more thrusty when i tested it than my current ltd and the navi select i tested. A lot of expy plat are tested as being a tick or two faster than the navi.

FWIW I checked my dash panels where this video pointed out ‘obvious quality issues’ and they are rock solid. I wonder what’s gone on with that press vehicle dash.
