Here goes: Wife's 17 Limited Shorty, 20k miles, Cat Scale Weight with me, wifey, kids, dog, kids crap and full tank of gas = 6400lbs, 3200 Front axle, 3200 Rear.

Leaves me 1100lbs. Try to keep tongue weight at 700 to 800 plus WDH, so no more than 900, gives me 200 of "room"

Trailer: 2019 Rockwood 2508. Dry weights, 4461 with 660 tongue, GVWR is 5940. 25' 9" long

I plan on the trailer being around 5500 ready to camp, so 12-13% puts me at 660 to 715 tongue, worst case of 800 is my plan.

So 6400 plus 800 tongue, plus 75 WDH, puts me at 7275. 225 of "extra" room, hope to not go over rear axle, but won't know until a weight the set up.

Does my math seem right?

Also, going to use a Equalizer 4 point. I know 26' aint that long, but with only 119 wheel base, i hope it doesn't squirm on me. Use to tow a 10 place snowmobile trailer behind a diesel 350, but that was nice tow set up and quite frankly, my little kids will be in car, so I need it to be safe.

Have Cooper AT3's on it, P rated, but XL load. Going to upgrade them to the new AT3 4S when they come out this fall for better snow performance.

Overall, I think your math works, simply because you've got some margin in there. That said, I think your "wet" tongue weight is going to end up heavier than you think. Dry tongue weight is 660lbs, but that doesn't include 60lbs of propane tanks and 40lbs of 12V lead-acid batteries. So you're really 760lbs before you put a single item in your (only) external storage, which just happens to be right up at the front of the box...

I agree on the tongue weight. My trailer has an advertised dry tongue weight of 500 pounds. Loaded for camping (including full tank of fresh water) puts it at 930 pounds! I do have dual 6v batteries on the tongue and two propane bottles. That weight really creeps up on you. With a properly adjusted wdh I can nearly level the truck though, and it has power in spades to pull the load.

Exactly! My dry tongue weight is ~450lbs and my fully loaded tongue weight is ~960lbs for an increase, like you, of ~500lbs. I'm going to guess his will go up less than 500lbs because I have a 2nd battery and 60gal of water right behind the front wall of the box.
