This is not at full crank I'm well aware of the vehicle having a grinding sound when at making turn at full crank. I literally just noticed it happening at first I thought it was the brake pads grinding when braking but when pulling into the driveway using only the gas it happens when I turn the steering wheel left or right although it sounds and feels like the right side. The truck is only a few hundred miles past 50,000.

I meant to say it felt like it is coming from the left side.

if you turn the wheel without moving forward is the sound there?

Is it only when the vehicle is in motion?

I just pulled it out in the drive way it makes the sound when sitting in park and it also makes the sound when going straight. Both turning left and and right the sound occurs but it sounds like it is coming for the driver side. Also when driving yesterday I was able to feel it in the driver side floor board. It has 53,000 miles on it.

I didn't see if you have 4wd or not (sorry, doing this from my phone). If you do have 4wd, see if it goes away when you switch into 4x4 mode. If it does, then it's probably your 4x4:actuator/iwe, vacuum lines or solenoid.

No I don't have 4wd I wish I did but unfortunately no. It is the weirdest thing. Driving it around yesterday I was getting a vibration small but there nonetheless on a newly paved road. I might try and jack the truck up today and see if I can find anything out of the norm. That and I will have my dad drive it to make sure I'm not going crazy or over reacting.

Look under the hood while someone turns the wheel for you yo hrlp locate the noise. If that doesn;t work, observe from underneath while someone turns the wheel.

Well after performing a visual inspection it looks brand new under there. Although upon start up today I was unable to replicate the problem. Now it has not been driven for about 48 hours but the last drive it was so bad you could feel it knocking in the floor board.
