I have an 01 Eddie Bauer Expedition, 4x4, 5.4l. The heat and AC have not worked since I bought it. I purchased a new Blower Motor and Blower Motor Resistor. Yesterday I replaced the Blower Motor, but could not find the location of the resistor, underneath the passenger dash looked different than any Youtube video I could find. The blower motor was bad, so I replaced it. Now the rear heat and AC work, but the front won't come on. The wheel that selects the fan speed doesn't work. Could it be the resistor? If so, where is it? Or am I going to need to replace the entire AC control panel in the dash?

When you say the fan speed selector doesn't work, does it free spin or does it have the notches for the speeds?

I've seen that video. I was under that side of the dash for 3 hours and couldn't find it. The fan speed selector for the back works because it is a knob that clicks as you turn it clockwise. The front speed control is a roller switch that goes up and down and it doesn't feel like it has notches

You have the EATC, automatic temperature control. The blower resistor looks different on that system. It may look something this these.

Grand Marquis and Crown Vics run the same EATC head unit module that is in your picture... Could the blower motor resistor be in the same place (under hood) as described in this video?

I think I saw something like those behind the passenger side kick panel. I will look tonight and see if I can located it. Looks like those resistors are a lot more expensive than the one I originally ordered, maybe I can find one at Pick N Pull if I get lucky

Unfortunately they are. They run about double what a simple regular resistor runs.

It’s going to be under dash or behind the glovebox. It screws into the air box. The blower forces air over the heatsink, so start at the blower and search towards the center of the dash.
