I've searched and read all related info about the keypad and found a 5 digit # on the fuse box behind kick panel on pass. side. But when I enter code it does nothing. I'm assuming it's correct code since it's only 5 digit code on the FoMoCo sticker on the bottom left, as I saw on a F150online thread, but can't figure out how to set my own code and I'm using owners manual instructions. Any help would be appreciated.
New owner here and love the truck. No real mods yet, except a stock K&N a/f and the grill guard in my pic.

Your Ford / Lincoln dealer can look up the original code with your VIN and proof of ownership.

Are they the only ones that can pull the code? Can any of the more sophisticated scanners find it? It'd sure be handy to have, but I don't want to pay the hourly rate at the dealership to find it.

The previous owner of mine sent me a code (no idea where it came from - doesn't work), which is different than the one up under the passenger kick panel (tried it numerous times). No idea why this would be?

It’s been too long to remember if you can do it with FORScan. Check the FORScan thread, it might have been mentioned in there.
As far as the other code, you can program new codes as long as you have the original (which should be the one under the kick panel). My factory code stopped working for a bit and I had to reset my BCM through FORScan to get it to work again. I have my OEM code programmed into my wife’s truck, and hers programmed into mine to ensure we can always get in. They both work fine.

Do you have 2 keys? If you do it’s a sequence where you insert key one turn to the on position (don’t start it), take key one out, insert key 2 turn to the on position (don’t start it) and then the code will display on the computer screen. Make sure you do with doors closed. Hope that helps.

Per the owners manual:
Displaying the Factory Set Code
Note: You need to have two programmed
keys for this procedure.
To display the factory-set code in the
information display:
1. Insert a key into the ignition and switch
the ignition on for a few seconds.
2. Switch the ignition off and remove the
key.
3. Insert the second key into the ignition
and switch the ignition on.
The factory-set code will display for a few
seconds.
Note: The code may not display until after
any other warning messages first display.

The 2-key method won't work on early 3rd gens. Believe thats a 2015+ thing.

Unrelated but related, on a 2013+ Ford Fusion using the 2-key method, the code shown is oddly backwards. If 1-2-3-4-5 is displayed, the OEM code is actually 5-4-3-2-1. Possibly the same logic was used on the sticker found on the module in the kick panel?

I'm skeptical any Ford dealer can take your VIN and title and produce the code.
