Are you saying you looked, and forscan has no plain english version listed to enable remote start, on your 2017? Or just wanting to know, just in case?

Is remote start factory equipped but not necessarily enabled on all Gen 3 or 2011?

I just deleted this message. 
There is apparently a plain English menu item in Forscan to activate remote start.
Ya still gotta have the right key(s).
For the curious the Hex address is 726-19-01 0148
Recommend getting the Module Build Data from FordServiceInfo.com It's specific to your VIN. My truck has remote start and the hex data matches.

Following this post. I have a 2011 XLT Limited as well, would be awesome to have remote start.
